Book of Fears

Artist Ava Fedorov’s Book of Fears is just that: a catalog of fears, from the generic and universal to the idiosyncratic or perverse, drawn in pencil into the pages of the artist's notebook and reproduced here in a limited-edition book—for fearful readers of any age.

Born and raised in the remote regions of the Catskill Mountains, Ava Fedorov studied Filmmaking and Fine Art at Bard College. During several years of traveling from Helsinki to Puebla, Mexico, she further developed independent creative projects, with stylistic emphasis on illustration and design. In 2004, Ava moved to New York City and currently works at The New Yorker.
