Reptile House

Reptile House, by Lisa Jarnot, is a series of Crocodile Odes. This is not as straight forward as it sounds. Playful and sharp, these amphibious poems live on both sides of language.

Lisa Jarnot is the author of three books of poetry: Some Other Kind of Mission (Burning Deck), Black Dog Songs Flood Editions), and Ring of Fire (Salt). She divides her time between New York and London, and teaches in the MFA program at Brooklyn College.
