Moon

Den tjuande mars 2000 møttest forteljingar om månen under kvelvingen på Bergen Kunstmuseum i Noreg. På berre litt meir enn ein time ringte 24 personar frå heile verda inn historier og personlege opplevingar knytte til månen. Hendinga varte litt i ein god time. Kvar innringjar snakka på morsmålet sitt, så publikum forstod berre ein liten bit av det som vart fortalt. Denne boka dokumenterer alt som vart sagt den natta, på originalspråka, og dette er omsett til engelsk. Det er òg laga ein CD med lydopptaket av sjølve hendinga i Bergen Kunstmuseum.

On the 20th of March 2000 a collection of stories concerning the moon were gathered in the rotunda of the Bergen Art Museum, Norway. 24 persons from different places around the world narrated stories and personal experiences related to the moon. The happening lasted for a little more than an hour. All the stories were told in the respective callers’ native language. Consequently the audience in the rotunda could understand only a few of the stories. This book is a documentation in the original language of everything that was related that night. All stories are also translated into English. There is also a CD with sound recordings of the happening at the Bergen Art Museum.
