Fishings

Swimming alongside the fairy tale and the bedtime story, these fishy poems and songs are the result of a playful collaboration between Shannon, her two-year-old daughter Sadie, and the newly formed Side Space Gallery on St. Clair West, in Toronto. Containing original line drawings by Shannon, Fishings is a tankful of cautionary fun, with a few poor dead fish floating around on the surface.

Shannon Bramer was born in Hamilton. She is the author of suitcases and other poems, scarf, and more recently, The Refrigerator Memory, (with Coach House Books). She lives in Toronto with her daughter, Sadie Glenn and hubby, Dave Derry.
