OEI #60-61: Extra-disciplinary spaces and de-disciplinizing moments. In and out of the 30th Bienal de São Paulo

OEI is a magazine for extra-disciplinary spaces and de-disciplinizing moments – experimental forms of thinking, montages between poetry, art, philosophy, film, and documents; editorial enunciations and aesthetic technologies, alternative historiographies and speculative ethnographies.
OEI was founded in 1999 and has published about 60 issues of the magazine. The publishing structure OEI editör was initiated in 2002 and has published some 60 books of conceptual poetry, aesthetic documents, theoretical and poetological texts etc. Since 2011 OEI also runs the micro-gallery OEI Colour Project in Stockholm.

As members of the London Musicians' Collective (LMC), Sarah Washington and Knut Aufermann were co-founders of London's first art radio station, Resonance 104.4FM, in 2002. The station has created a new model for community media and has established itself as a platform for experimental art practice for thousands of artists, writers and thinkers across a range of different communities. Following their experience at Resonance FM, Washington and Aufermann started Mobile Radio in September 2005. They perform as part of media and art festivals, conferences and universities, and contribute to one-off events with short-lived radio stations, special live broadcasts and edited pieces.
