Steinar

17. og 18. juli 2002 vandra Kurt Johannessen rundt i området kring Finse. Han stogga ved utvalde steinar og las eventyr for dei. Han las til saman 22 ulike eventyr til 22 ulike steinar. Alle eventyra var frå samlingane til Asbjørnsen og Moe, og alle handla om troll. Boka er ei samling med bilde av steinane og titlane på dei eventyra som vart lesne for dei. Boka fekk ein pris under London Artists Book Fair 2004 på Institute of Contemporary Arts og vart med det kjøpt inn av Birmingham Museum.

On 17 and 18 July 2002 Kurt Johannessen hiked around in the Finse area. He stopped by selected stones and read fairy tales for them. He read a total of 22 stories for 22 different stones. All the fairy tales came from the Asbjørnsen and Moe Collections, and all were about trolls. The book is a compilation of pictures of the stones and the titles of the fairy tales read to them. The book received a prize at the London Artists Book Fair 2004 at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, and as a result it was acquired by the Birmingham Museum.
